Hi, I'm Sabrina (Bri).

Growth UX designer, happiest somewhere between a Mixpanel funnel and a whiteboard full of sticky notes.

I studied fine arts and psychology at NYU, which turned out to be great training for growth design. Half the job is understanding why people do what they do. The other half is making the next step feel obvious.

For 5+ years I've done that in B2B SaaS, first at product-led Trainerize and now at sales-led Glofox. I design onboarding, paywalls, pricing pages and experiments, and I build the design systems that hold them together.

My favourite part of the job is the end of a good brainstorm, when everyone leaves the call a little too excited to start building.

Where I have been

A few stops between art school and growth design.

  1. Aug 2026 to now, Vancouver BC

Sr. Growth UX Designer, ABC Fitness

Sales-led, part of ABC Fitness. I run CRO experiments on the website and own the web design system the Web and Brand teams build with.

  2. Mar 2024 - Aug 2026, Vancouver BC

    Sr. Growth UX Designer, Trainerize

Product-led. I designed onboarding, activation, upgrade and pricing experiences, then tested what actually moved trial-to-paid.

  3. Apr 2021 - Mar 2024, Vancouver BC

    Product Designer, Adoption, Trainerize

Working with product teams to drive feature adoption and manage paywall design system components

  4. November 2020 - Apr 2021, Vancouver BC

    UX Designer, Autometrics

Contract work as a UX Designer

  5. Education, New York

    NYU, fine arts and psychology

Learning about human behaviour, conducting experiments and finding creative ways to express myself

How I think about design

Three ideas I come back to on every project.

  1. Design the system, not just the screen

Most conversion problems are not button problems. I map every entry point, role and edge case first, then the UI almost designs itself.

  2. Data tells me how, people tell me why

Funnels show where users drop off. Interviews and recordings show why. A lift I cannot explain does not satisfy me.

  3. A user win is a business win

If a pattern only works by tricking someone, it is debt, not growth. The best experiments help people reach value faster.

Off the clock

Where I go to think about something else.

I captain a rec ultimate frisbee team in Vancouver. I lose hours to engine-building board games and Inscryption (I have opinions about its UI), and my dog Chip, my partner, and I love a good Tuesday evening paddleboarding session.
